Christmas Traditional Foods

Once a year we receive the wonderful gift of enjoying our favorite, traditional Christmas foods – all the stuff that tantalizes our taste buds and brings back our best memories of the holiday season.

What could be better than the buttery crunch of a Christmas cookie, glistening with sugar or lovingly decorated with red and green sprinkles? Hmmm, maybe a gingerbread man fresh from the oven and slathered in icing? When you were a kid (or now), they were just as much fun to make as they were to eat!

Then, who could be without creamy eggnog spiked with spiced rum or punch bowls full of floating orange slices atop hot apple cider or mulled wine? Christmastime also promises roasted chestnuts and marshmallows…and speaking of marshmallows, there will be hot chocolate by the mughals!

The dinner table is brimming with an enormous plate of turkey, ham, duck or goose with all of the mandatory sides, including mashed potatoes swimming in gravy, sausage stuffing and cranberry sauce.

And although your table may be adorned with those adorable traditional Christmas butter cookies, deserts will always include sweets like mincemeat pie, figgy pudding, pumpkin bread topped with sweet cream cheese icing and fruitcake. (We’ll leave that last one up to you.)

From cookie cutters, to pie pans, to spatulas, to cake plates and so much more, get everything you need to make your traditional Christmas an even more joyous occasion at Houseware Warehouse!
